Elxi’ - 2010 - stainless steel - 12 x 35 cm

Art was always and throughout the centuries - like in 1821 - the communication beyond borders and language barriers. Steel as an element will stay much longer than we live to give a statement about the art, a way of expression of its time. My nonfigurative sculpture speaks about our earth with all its facets. Balance and imbalance. It leaves space for inspiration and imagination. We have the big challenge to take care of our environment. We should not forget all the richness our earth is offering us but we have to keep it with responsibility for future generations and centuries.
