In my work, I explore our attempts at making order around us, setting systems for ourselves, only to see them unravel or sometimes knowingly provoking their very destruction. I think of us as paradoxes, absurd, even comical at times, weaving our beautiful, complex journeys. In my explorations, the path, the line often comes to me as thread, like the threads I saw pass so many times through my grandmother’s fingers when she knitted beside me, chatting, the words coming as her fingers danced.
